Hi Milcielys, Hopefully, you have read the tips so you can avoid being bullied on the Internet. If you are already being bullied, you need to take steps to make it end. Are you a student at school, or a parent of a child being bullied at school? Print off copies of threatening emails, instant messages or websites to show to the school principal so they know a student is bullying another student. The school can't do anything if you don't speak up. If you or your child's life is being threatened, notify the authorities immediately.
Some people think they have to put up with a bully on the Internet and engage them in conversations, emails and IMs. The best thing you can do to a cyber bully is ignore them- don't engage them in a conversation. This is what they want you to do- it gives them power over you. For example, if someone was calling you on the phone and bullying you, would you keep answering the phone (assuming you have caller ID), or would you simply ignore the call? The same concept applies to cyber bullies. If a bully has your email address, get another email address and get rid of the old one.
